Burial followed at the Spencerville Cemetery in Spencerville, Okla. Pearl passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021, in Denison, Texas, at the age of 84.

Celebration of Life for Donna Mae Nash will be held at 10 a.m. June 28, 2021 in the First Baptist Church in Hugo, Okla., with Doug McClure officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo. Donna went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 21, 2021, in Paris, Texas, at the age of 74.

Humphrey asks for prison emergency

OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Justin Humphrey, R-Lane, is calling for a state of emergency to be declared to address the shortage of corrections officers at state prisons. The current shortage of about between 300 to 400 correctional officers could result in fights or riots that can end in loss of life, a hostage situation or damage to the prison employees, inmates and state property, he said.
