OKLAHOMA CITY –– Law enforcement officers frequently respond or are first on scene at wildland fires across Oklahoma. To better arm them with knowledge and tactics for fires that are increasing in size, frequency and intensity, Oklahoma Forestry Services (OFS) is partnering with the International Association of Fire Chiefs’ (IAFC) Ready, Set Go! Pushmataha County man loses life in rollover wreck

PUSHMATAHA COUNTY –– A Ringold, Okla., man lost his life in a one-vehicle wreck last Thursday on S.H. 3, approximately a half-mile east of Rattan in Pushmataha County.

According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, John Lundry, 38, was eastbound on S.H. 3 when he ran off the right side of the roadway for an unknown reason, struck an embankment and rolled approximately two-and-a-half times. Reports state Lundry was ejected a distance of 67 feet. He was pronounced deceased at the scene with a head injury.
