Graveside services for Christina Marie (Phillips) James, of Boswell, Okla., will be held at 2 p.m. March 17, 2022 at Wade Family Cemetery in Unger, Okla. Christina passed away March 10, 2022, at the age of 80.

We will be dealing with two cold fronts over the next seven days, one is coming on Thursday night with chances of showers and another on Monday. After being in the upper-70s on Thursday, I am only expecting highs in the mid-60s on Friday and the wind will be gusty. The Second Annual Trail of Tears Virtual Journey kicks off March 21, 2022. This year, the route will take the participants over 512 miles from Mississippi to Oklahoma. The points of interest along the way will be different from last year, with several videos highlighting aspects of the ancestral journey and Choctaw heritage. Participants will have until June 19, 2022 to complete the challenge.
