Hugo industrial Authority updates Broadway building with help from local businessmen

A building owned by the Hugo Industrial Authority in downtown Hugo recently received a major update thanks to donations from local businessmen. David King and Terry Griffin of King Company painted the outside of the building at the corner of Broadway Street and Duke Street, giving the large structure a much-needed upgrade.

Oklahoma NRCS announces EQIP cut-off for current year funding

Oklahoma’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Acting State Conservationist, Amanda Mathis, has announced the agency is accepting applications for Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP). Oklahomans whose land use includes cropland, rangeland, pasture and private non-industrial forestland are eligible to apply. The deadline for applying in the current batching period is Dec. 9, 2022.
