Choctaw County EMS
Body
was presented a certificate last week from Oklahoma State USDA Director Kenneth Corn, regarding a grant Dr. Randy Springfield wrote for the Ambulance Authority for the purchase of a new ambulance, two new ventilators, and lift assist equipment. Appointed by President Biden, Director Corn wanted to personally present the grant and tour the agency and report back to the President on the impact this grant has on rural EMS. On behalf of the staff, Board of Directors, and County Commissioners, they were happy for the visit to Choctaw County. Present for the presentation (from left to right) are: Choctaw County Commissioner District 2 Darrell Kerr, Choctaw County EMS Board Chairman Rod Moyer, Choctaw County EMS Director Dr. Randy L. Springfield, Oklahoma State USDA Director Kenneth Corn, Paramedic Sarah Richmond, and Intermediate EMT Tony Weese.
