Robert Fulton Cobb, a cherished soul known affectionately as Robert, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024 in Paris, Texas. Born in Cullman, Ala., on May 12, 1942 to loving parents Fulton Woodrow and Zula (Ellinburg) Cobb, Robert grew up to be a man marked by his humor, kindness and an unwavering dedication to family and community.
In solemn remembrance of Master Sergeant Howard D. Sumner, USMC retired, aged 87 years of Hugo, Okla. Howard passed away Feb. 28, 2024. Howard was born July 30, 1936 in Non, Okla., to Lois Tollett and Sandford Sumner. Howard joined the United States Marine Corps in 1954 and faithfully served his country until his retirement in 1975 at the rank of Master Sergeant. Howard continued his life of service as commander at VFW Post 8316, where he became a staple in the Hugo community. Every week you could find Howard at the VFW enjoying BINGO with his good friends and community.
