By the people... For the people. When President Abraham Lincoln spoke these words on a cold November day at Gettysburg in 1863, he rightfully more deeply carved his initials into the history books as a statesman.
Despite his incredible wisdom, Lincoln’s political platform was not without plenty of opposition as could be said of most of our nation’s founding fathers.
Freedom was a common thread to be protected by our national founders and they well understood that it would take a lot of public input to safeguard these important freedoms.
