Fort Towson 4-H wins State Forestry
The Fort Towson 4-H Forestry junior and senior teams won top honors in the State Forestry Judging contest held at Robber’s Cave, north of Wilburton.
4-H members had to take a test over general forestry knowledge, identify insects, participate in compass and pacing, identify trees and tell how they are used in Oklahoma, and measure saw logs.
