Local EMT course debuts with nearly 20 students
Nearly 20 people are taking part in the Choctaw County Ambulance Authority’s first Basic Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course.
The five-month course unofficially kicked off Aug. 3 with a welcome address given by the ambulance authority’s executive director, Randy Springfield.
Officially, the class starts Aug. 17.
