Tisha Ann (Webster) Reece

Memorial services for Tisha Ann (Webster) Reece, of Fort Towson, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023 at Hugo Lake State Park Hospitality House.

Tisha Ann (Webster) Reece was born on Nov. 25, 1960 in Talihina, Okla., the daughter of Dan Webster and Anita (Nelson) Webster. She departed this life on Dec. 28, 2022 in Fort Towson, Okla., at the age of 62. Tisha married Les Reece on July 14, 2004 in Hugo. She is preceded in death by her husband, Les; her parents; brother, Daniel Webster; and a granddaughter.

Tisha lived most of her life in the Hugo and Fort Towson area. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting and playing games on her tablet. Above all, Tisha loved the Lord, she loved to read her Bible and was the children’s minister at Corinth Baptist Church. Tisha loved people and was always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone. She especially loved her family and took good care of them. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Tisha is survived by her son, Levi Pettyjohn and wife of Cloudy, Okla.; daughters: Brandy Chapman and husband of Fort Towson, Latisha Mote and husband of Siloam Springs, Ark., Casey Pettyjohn of Hugo, Candice Hendrix and husband of Hugo, Cadye Nation and husband of Valliant, and Torie Smiley of Fort Towson; brother, Charles Webster and wife of Morrisville, Mo.; sisters: Barbara Ford and husband of Paris, Texas, Gail Medcalf and husband of Whitesboro, Texas; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one on the way; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Travis Farmer officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
