Timothy Johnson

Funeral services for Timothy Johnson, of Ringold, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021 at Choctaw Academy Methodist Church in Rufe, Okla.

Timothy Ray Johnson, age 46, passed away on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 in McAlester, Okla. Timothy was born Sept. 15, 1974 in Talihina, Okla., the son of Jack Johnson and Mary (Billy) Johnson. Timothy was a 1993 graduate of Battiest High School. After school, Timothy became a truck driver and drove for many years for Haliburton. Timothy enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting rocks and cooking. He loved watching kids playing sports, especially basketball. Timothy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Timothy is survived by his parents: Jack Johnson and wife Kim of Idabel, Okla., Mary Johnson of Broken Bow, Okla.; brother, Gary Johnson and companion of Wright City, Okla.; sisters: Ashlie Raper and husband of Valliant, Okla., Sherry Brumley and husband of Skiatook, Okla., Heartly Johnson of Idabel and Ciarra Johnson of Idabel; seven nieces and nephews, along with many loved family and friends.

Interment followed the service at Choctaw Academy Cemetery with Bro. Robert Weeks, assisted by Bro. Rodney Watson, officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
