Brenda Jean Bates

Graveside services for Brenda Jean Bates will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021 in the Springs Chapel Cemetery in Hugo, Okla., with the Rev. Chris Kelly of Powderly, Texas, officiating.

Brenda went to be with Jesus Nov. 6, 2021, in Hugo, Okla., at the age of 66.

Brenda J. Bates was born Aug. 20, 1955, to Coy and Mildred (Conner) Bates in Oklahoma City. She had lived in this area all of her life and was a resident of the Baptist Village for the last 42 years. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Coy Bates and brother, Jackie Dewayne Bates.

Brenda is survived by her mother, Mildred Bates of Hugo; brother, Richard Bates of Lawton, Okla., and sister, Charlotte Bates Ramsey of Hugo.

Services are under the direction of Mt. Olive Funeral Home.
