Funeral services for Dale William Harrison, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Aug. 3, 2022 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home. Dale passed away July 30, 2022, at the age of 73.

Dale William Harrison was born on Nov. 8, 1948 in Casa Grande, Ariz., the son of Clyde Harrison and Millie Jean Cradduck Harrison. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dale Lee Harrison; brother, Doyle Harrison and sister, Gale Harrison.

Dale was a proud veteran of the United States Army and had lived in the Hugo area for the last 30 years. He married his beloved wife, Georgia Workman on April 11, 1988 in Chicota, Texas. Dale loved playing the guitar and mandolin. He also loved gardening and fishing, but his greatest love was preaching the Gospel. Dale had pastored for 25 years and wanted everyone to know about his Lord and Saviour Jesus. He was an excellent brick layer and took care of his parents for many years until they passed away. Dale loved his wife and was a wonderful husband. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dale is survived by his wife, Georgia; son, Steve Harrison and wife of Blanchard, Okla.; daughter, Brenda Harrison of Montana; brothers: Gary Harrison and wife of Weleetka, Okla., Larry Harrison and wife of Stratford, Okla., Eddie Harrison and wife of Harrah, Okla., and Daniel Harrison of Oklahoma City; sister, Mary Batchelor and husband of Hugo; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Fort Towson Cemetery with the Rev. Russell Miller, assisted by Becky Pierce, officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
