Dorothy “Dot” Lea Sutterfield was born on July 1, 1936 in Hugo, Okla., to Albert and Mary Belle (Jones) Dilbeck. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Artis Dilbeck and sisters: Nettie Eagleberger and Flora Rogers.

Dot was a graduate of Hugo High School, Class of 1956. She married the love of her life, Joe Doil Sutterfield on Aug. 4, 1956. They made their home in Muskogee, Okla., and worked side by side as the owners and operators of Pro Bass, a service station and Taco Hut in Muskogee. Dot was always working but she enjoyed traveling, especially flying. She loved interior decorating and making flower arrangements. Dot was a very strong Christian woman; she loved her family and friends, but she especially loved the Lord and enjoyed worshipping and serving Him. Dot moved back to Hugo in recent years and enjoyed going to church at Oak Grove Baptist Church with her sister Nadine. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dot is survived by her sister, Nadine Davis of Hugo, along with several nieces, nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Bro. Kyle Cummings will officiate the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
