Elizabeth Kay “Bea” Whitson

Private family services for Elizabeth Kay “Bea” Whitson, of Soper, Okla., were held Monday, March 20, 2023. Elizabeth passed away March 13, 2023, at the age of 50.

Elizabeth Kay “Bea” Whitson was born on Jan. 20, 1973 in Hugo, Okla., the daughter of Harry Loyd Whitson and Sharon (Akins) Whitson.

Bea was a lifelong resident of Soper and loved her family beyond measure. She had a big heart and would give her last dime to anyone in need. Bea would be the first person to give people a chance regardless of their situation. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Bea is survived by her parents; son, Broc Erwin and wife of Fort Towson, Okla.; daughter, Shayna Benjamin of Swink, Okla.; six grandchildren; brother, Billy Joe Whitson of Soper; sister, Nancy Wall and husband of Seminole, Okla., along with a host of other family friends and loved ones.

Services were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
