Funeral services for Fredalene Wanda Holder, of Soper, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Aug. 19, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo. Fredalene passed away Aug. 15, 2021, at the age of 83.

Fredalene Wanda Holder was born on April 11, 1938 in Spencerville, Okla., to Fred and Audie (Fatheree)Wilkins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lloyd Wilkins.

Fredalene grew up in Oleta, Okla., and graduated from Rattan High School, class of 1956. She married the love of her life, Wayne Holder on Jan. 14, 1963 in DeQueen, Ark. They made their home in Soper where they raised their three children. Fredalene worked with Wayne as a bail bondsman where her family will tell you she enjoyed bossing Wayne. Fredalene kept an immaculate home. She enjoyed cleaning and loved to iron clothes to a crisp. She enjoyed her weekly standing appointment at the Soper Beauty Shop. Fredalene enjoyed traveling with Wayne all around the world. They traveled to Germany, Switzerland, Spain, the Hawaiian Islands, Barbados, the Caribbean Islands, and all over the United States. They moved to Hugo 14 years ago to be closer to their work. Fredalene enjoyed her frequent trips to the Horseshoe in Louisiana where she loved to play the slots and go shopping. She was a huge PBR and NBA fan. She loved to watch Clark team rope and her grandkids play basketball. Her greatest love was her family, and she will be missed by so many who knew and loved her. Fredalene was a devoted member of the Church of Christ.

Fredalene is survived by her husband of more than 58 years, Wayne; son, Clark Holder and wife, Jessica of Soper; daughters: Waynette and husband, Vernon of Wilburton, Okla., and Amber Holder of Hugo; grandchildren, Jade, Noah, Jase, JaeLeigh, Jet, Jozie Kate and Libby; great-grandchildren: Kawl Wayne and Klyde, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Soper, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
