Fredrick Lee Woodson

Fredrick Lee Woodson, of Hugo, Okla., passed away Sept. 9, 2021, at the age of 69.

Fredrick Lee Woodson was born on Feb. 3, 1952 in Wolfe City, Texas, to Ott William and Aliene Pierceson Woodson. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Samantha Woodson; brother, Troy Woodson and sister, Grace Lanier.

Fredrick married Kathie Thomas on Oct. 5, 1993 in Nashoba, Okla. He enjoyed tinkering on motors and loved the outdoors. Fredrick loved taking care of his animals and enjoyed fishing. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Fredrick is survived by his wife; sons: John Thomas of Bokchito, Okla., Richard Payne of Hugo, Robert Long of Bokchito; daughters: Kathalene Harland of Broken Bow, Okla., Christy Welch of Mt. Vernon, Texas; brother, James Woodson, Lone Oak, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; a special grandson; eight great-grandchildren; sisters: Shirley Norris of Tyler, Texas, Billie Nelson of Tyler, Foye Bain of Tyler, Odessa Searcy of Dallas, Texas, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
