Graveside services for Georgia Frankie Cupit were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Springs Chapel Cemetery with Jessie Babock officiating. Burial followed at Springs Chapel Cemetery. Georgia went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in Hugo, Okla., at the age of 98.

Georgia was born Dec. 15, 1923 in Fairfax, Okla., the daughter of Nathanial and Susie (Loyd) Reynolds.

She lived most of her life in Hugo. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She married Bernie Cupit in 1976; he preceded her in death and all her siblings. She had two sisters: Idabel Trimble and Gladys Dunham; one brother, Burl Reynolds; three half-sisters; six half-brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Dora Winship and husband, Kenneth; one son, Owen Reynolds, all of Hugo; seven grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren, and numerous greatgreat-grandchildren; and many family friends.

She enjoyed attending church and fellowshipping. She loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. She made many quilts for her friends and family. She spent a lot of time holding garage sales and tending to her flower gardens.

Services were under the direction of Mt. Olive Funeral Home. Family and friends are also invited
