Funeral services for Jack Albion Hyland, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 12, 2022 at Valliant Cemetery. Jack passed away Jan. 10, 2022.

Jack Albion Hyland was born on July 14, 1970, in Dallas County, Texas, the son of Jack Eldridge and Dorothy (Gross) Hyland. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jack graduated from Hutchins Christian Academy and was a gifted cabinet builder. He loved to drive and listen to and tell stories about Sasquatch. Jack enjoyed reading, especially studying history and the Bible. He loved to hunt and fish with his Dad before his passing –– one of his favorite spots was the Kiamichi Dam. Jack enjoyed reading “Popular Mechanics” magazine and he was an exceptional bowler. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jack is survived by his brother, John Hyland of Hutchins, Texas; sisters: Jacqueline Masters, Helen Hickson and Dorothy Andrews along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loved ones and friends.

Bro. Johnny Corgill officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
