Jacky Thurman Henderson

Funeral services for Jacky Thurman Henderson, of Fort Towson, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. March 24, 2022 at Spencerville Church. Jacky passed away March 20, 2022, at the age of 79.

Jacky Thurman Henderson was born on Sept. 10, 1942 in Spencerville, Okla., to Joseph T. Henderson and Doris Baze France. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jacky married the love of his life, Linda Gervais on May 9, 1975 in Hugo, Okla. He was a true cowboy and loved animals, but especially horses. Jacky was a kind and soft-hearted man whom everyone looked up to. He loved his family above all things and the sun rose and set with his daughter and grandkids. Jacky will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jacky is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Eva Vanworth and husband, James of Messer, Okla.; grandchildren: Garret Vanworth and wife, Jimmylynn and Toby Vanworth and wife, Kayla; great-grandchildren: Gavin, Taylor, Ruger, Tinsley and Kase, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Spencerville Cemetery with James Vanworth, Aaron Young and Johnny Corgill officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
