Funeral services for Jimmy Lee Walker, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. July 25, 2022 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home. Jimmy passed away July 21, 2022, at the age of 85.

Jimmy Lee Walker was born on April 17, 1937 in Pampa, Texas, to D.M. Bonner and Dorothy (Strong) Bonner. She was proceeded in death by her parents; husband, Charles M. Walker; brothers: Sonny Bonner and Raymond Bonner and great-grandchild, Rose Allen.

Jimmy married the love of her life; Charles M. Walker on May 12, 1972 in Paris, Texas, making their loving home in the Hugo community, where Jimmy has resided for more than 50 years before her passing. In those last 50 years she spent the majority of her time working as a court clerk for Choctaw County. She enjoyed the work she did there, getting to speak to many members of the community, she was known for never meeting a stranger. Jimmy also loved reading, working in the yard, tending to her flowers and going out to eat with her girlfriends in her spare time. However, the greatest joy in her life was her family. Spending time with them was the highlight of her life, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jimmy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jimmy leaves to cherish her memory; son, Teri Gibson and wife, Alexa of Lucas, Texas; daughters: Gwen Robertson of Hugo and Candy Tollett and husband, Howard of Hugo; son, Charles Walker and wife, Shirley of Amarillo, Texas; daughter, Lynette Walker of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren: Brooke Gibson and Spencer Grimes, Brandon Allen and wife, Stacy, Dustin Allen, Torre Taylor and husband, Eric and Heath Tollett; greatgrandchildren: Brandon Allen II, Lilly Allen, Violet Allen, Logan Allen, Zane Allen, Londyn Allen, Miles Allen, Cody Taylor, Jacey Taylor and Evan Tollett; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Bro. Shawn Robertson officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
