John Larry Masters

Graveside services for John Larry Masters, of Ringold, Okla., were held Feb. 25, 2022 at Rufe Cemetery. John passed away Feb. 22, 2022, at the age of 71.

John Larry Masters was born on July 26, 1950 in Weaverville, Calif., the son of John Willie and Pearl (Nesbitt) Masters. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Evelyn Tuck, Sara Findley and a greatgrandson.

Larry lived most his life in the Rattan area and was a graduate of Rattan High School, Class of 1968. He was an excellent heavy equipment operator and loved being around people. Larry was a “Good Time Charlie” who always had a sunny disposition and could always put a smile on your face. Everyone always knew where to find him. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Larry is survived by his son, Larry Masters and wife of Finley, Okla.; daughters: Christal Winship and husband of Ringold, Stacy Williams and husband of Ringold, and Stephanie Gidney and husband of McKinney, Texas; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Martin of Ringold, along with a host of other loved ones and friends.

Bro. Johnny Corgill officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
