Lonnie James Watson, Sr.

Funeral services for Lonnie James Watson, Sr., of Wright City, Okla., will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2022 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Wright City. Lonnie passed away Oct. 14, 2022, at the age of 78.

Lonnie James Watson, Sr., was born Jan. 10, 1944 in Valliant, Okla., and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. Surviving relatives include: sons: Lonnie Watson, Jr. and Nicholas Jordan; daughters: Jacqueline Polk, LaDonna Nolen, Paula Hearn and Jeanetta Rose; sister, Thelma Burrell; brothers: William Watson, Hardy Watson and George Watson; 17 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Interment will follow the service at Lukfata Cemetery with the Rev. Darnell Wagner officiating, under the direction of Rogan Funeral Home.
