Marcella Ann Schuchardt

Funeral services for Marcella Ann Schuchardt, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 2, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Marcella passed away Oct. 28, 2021, at the age of 86.

Marcella Ann Schuchardt was born on March 18, 1935, in Hosston, La., to Jesse J. and Carrie Ella (Pace) Tennis. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Armin John Walter Schuchardt, Jr and two sons: John Walter Schuchardt, III and Mark Armin Schuchardt.

Ann was a graduate of Fair Park High School in Shreveport, La., Class of 1953. She loved to read and was always working. Ann worked for North American Aviation, now known as Rockwall International, and for many years at the Goodland Boys School. She also was the Activity Director for the Golden Age Home and for many years at Finch Business & Tax Service. Ann was a dedicated employee, and a lady of many interests. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, painting and was an exceptionally talented crafter. Ann was highly active and had enjoyed traveling to worldwide destinations. She helped to raise her nieces and nephews and she will always hold a dear place in all their lives. Ann was a member of Victory Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ann is survived by two sons: Stephan Arthur Schuchardt and wife of Mayer, Ariz., and Paul Kennedy Schuchardt and wife of Oklahoma City; sister, Cecilia Finch of Hugo, along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and greatgrandchildren, numerous other family friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Bro. Brad Michael officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
