Michael Justin Wilson

Family-led memorial services for Michael Justin Wilson, of Boswell, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 31, 2022 at Riverside Unity Church in Boswell.

Michael Justin Wilson was born May 16, 1978 in Mesquite, Texas, the son of Steven Wilson and Deborah (Lee) Norwood. He departed this life on Dec. 24, 2022, at the age of 44. Michael attended Boswell Schools and worked on the oil rig for several years. He is preceded in death by his father; and grandfather.

Michael was a kind and generous man and everyone called him John Cena. He never wanted anyone to have a bad day and would do anything to help someone else. Michael was a ladies man and loved to play pool and watch Dallas Cowboys’ football. He loved kids and throwing a football with them, especially his nieces and nephews. Michael loved his family and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Michael is survived by his mother, Deborah Norwood of Boswell; step-father, Robert Lynn; grandparents; sisters: Amanda Wilson of Durant, Okla., and Mary Lynn of Boswell; three nephews; two nieces, along with a host of other family friends and loved ones.

Tim Harless officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
