Body

Patricia Ann (Holloway) Mock, 84, was born on Jan, 23, 1940 in Mill Creek, Okla., the daughter of Elba Holloway and Lucy Pearl (Norton) Holloway. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Carl Mock; daughters: Carol Mock and Kay Mock and brother, Terry Holloway.

Ann grew up around the Troy and Tishomingo area. She married her loving husband, Johnny, on Oct. 28, 1960. John and Ann moved to California around 1961 where they had their first two children, Carol and Kay, where Ann loved being a stay-at-home mom and taking care of her children and home. They then moved to Memphis, Tenn., to work on a dairy farm and that is where they had their third child, Becky. John and Ann later moved to Texas where Ann worked in assembly and was a banker. She taught her family to always love and have a grateful heart. Anyone that Ann “Nan” interacted with knew that she had a pure heart and loved everyone. Her beautiful smile and big blue eyes could light up a room and comfort all those around her. Ann was a faithful and loving Christian woman. She prayed all the time for her family and friends. Ann enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, a passion that she passed on to her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafts and flower gardening. Ann also had so much love for animals, taking in many dumped dogs –– one of which you could see when she would be in town with her big baby Buck, riding with her in the front passenger seat. Ann will truly be missed by all who knew her and she was an inspiration and blessing to everyone in her life.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Becky Mock Hayworth and husband; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
