Paul Childers

Funeral services for Paul Childers, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Jan. 12, 2022 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home. Paul passed away Jan. 9, 2022, at the age of 59.

Paul Stewart Childers was born on Nov. 30, 1962, in Hugo, Okla., the son of Glenn Stewart and Mary Francis (Taylor) Childers. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Linda Sue Vandever and Sandra Payne.

Paul was a graduate of Fort Towson High School and enrolled at Kiamichi Vo-Tech where he completed the diesel mechanic and welding program. He enjoyed hunting and riding around in the country with his dog. Paul was a true heavy equipment operator who always went above and beyond to do any job he was given. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Paul is survived by his brother, Bobby Childers and wife of Hugo; sister, Barbara Vandever and husband of Fort Towson, Okla.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other friends and loved ones. Interment followed the service at Fort Tow

Interment followed the service at Fort Towson Cemetery with Bro. Johnny Corgill officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
