Raymond Staggs

Family-led memorial services for Raymond Staggs, of Boswell, Okla., were held at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 12, 2022 at Boehler Crystal Community Cemetery. Raymond passed away Feb. 8, 2022, at the age of 65.

Raymond “Whitey” Travis Staggs was born on Oct. 23, 1956 in Farris, Okla., the son of Travis Lee and Ozella (Flowers) Staggs. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jim Staggs; his sisters: Judi Staggs, Doris Perry, Jerri Petty and a nephew.

Raymond was a resident of the Boswell area for more than 46 years and worked in the oil and farming industry. He loved being outdoors and especially loved to hunt and fish He was 100% an outdoorsman. Raymond enjoyed reading but his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family. Raymond’s nieces and nephews could always go to Uncle Whitey with any problem, and he was there to solve it for them. He loved his family above all things and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Raymond is survived by his brother, Bob Staggs and wife of Speer, Okla.; sisters: Janis Isbell and husband of Crystal, Okla., Sally Hallows and husband of Centerpoint, Okla., and Pat Wilson of Oklahoma; four nephews, four nieces, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Arrangements were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
