Robert “Bobby” Augusta Allen

Graveside services for Robert “Bobby” Augusta Allen, of Hugo, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 4, 2021 at Spencerville Cemetery. Robert passed away Aug. 30, 2021, at the age of 64.

Robert “Slowbob” Augusta Allen 1st was born on April 19, 1957 in Los Angeles, Calif., to Marshall and Rodessia (Justice) Allen. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Ellen.

Bobby married Ellen Cochran on Feb. 28, 1983 in Paris, Texas. He lived most of his life in Sawyer, Okla., surrounded by lots of family and friends. Bobby enjoyed driving a truck for more than 30 years. After retiring from driving trucks, he enjoyed spending his days working in the shop with the Hanson boys and two of his sons. Bobby enjoyed fishing and riding around looking for deer with David Bell. If it was Wednesday or Friday night you could always find him at his favorite place, Borderline eating dinner with the Testas and giving Brandi a hard time. He loved making people smile whether it was from his silly humor or giving them a cupcake. In the last year or so he really enjoyed helping the Millers with tent set ups. On the holidays he would enjoy going to the Pyle’s for a delicious meal and Christy would make sure he had plenty of his favorite, “deviled eggs.” Bobby will be truly missed by all the people who knew and loved him.

Bobby is survived by his daughters: Mary Allen and Rebecca Allen of Hugo; sons: Roger Cochran and wife of Rio Vista, Texas, Robert Allen 2nd and wife of Saint Germain, Wis., Anthony Allen and wife of Hugo; six grandchildren, and a host of other family friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo.

Bro. Colby Bryant will officiate the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
