Funeral services for Ronald Keith Baker, Sr., of Hugo, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 13, 2022 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Ronald passed away Dec. 8, 2022, at the age of 64.

Ronald Keith Baker was born on Jan. 13, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Owens; mother, Wilma Mathis Owens; wife, Lorna Baker; daughter, Missy Baker and brothers: Bobby Lee Rivers and Donald Baker.

Ron was a resident of Hugo for many years and a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football, going to the casino and riding around the lake enjoying nature and the outdoors. Ron was a family man and nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his family, he especially loved the annual deer and fish camps. Ron loved antagonizing his wife Lorna, going to buffets, calling them smorgasbords just to irritate her. He loved teasing and pestering his grandchildren and especially Hailey who he called a “suck tit crybaby.” Ron loved family gatherings and it was a rare occasion that they weren’t all together, laughing and enjoying life. His passing has left another void in his family’s life and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
