Ustas Howard Larkins, Jr.

Graveside services for Ustas Howard Larkins, Jr., of Boswell, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022 at Restland Cemetery in Boswell. Ustas passed away Oct. 13, 2022, at the age of 72.

Ustas Howard Larkins, Jr., 72, was born on Sept. 8, 1950, in Ogden, Utah, the son of Howard Larkins and Myrtle (Larkin) Larkins. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Arthur Larkins and LeRoy Larkins; sister, Clara Bell Larkins; son, Jeff Waugh; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Ustas was a proud retired veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved his country and served for many years. Ustas was a true outdoors man, loving to hunt, fish and work outside around his cattle. However, his greatest joy in life truly was his family. Ustas loved to get everyone together to visit and grill out as a family. Spending time with them brought him so much joy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Ustas is survived by his loving wife, Hazel (Allen) Larkins; sons: Lloyd Parker of Hazelton, Idaho, Bobby Larkins of Boswell and Jeffrey Larkins and wife of Durant, Okla.; daughters: Alice Tibbets and husband of Durant, Juanita Parker of Boswell, Rosa Sweet and husband of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Sherris Bragg of Bennington, Okla.; brother, Paul Larkins of Boswell; sister, Lori Smith of Farris, Okla.; 29 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; special nieces, along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.

Services were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
