Jose Guadalupe Rubio

Funeral services for Jose Guadalupe Rubio, of Boswell, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. March 15, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hugo. Jose passed away March 11, 2021, at the age of 44.

Jose Guadalupe Rubio was born on June 13, 1976 in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, to Jose Merced Rubio Sanches and Maria (Suares) Pueblito Moreno.

Jose is survived by his wife, Maria Carrion; children: Maria del Carmen Avalos and husband, Jose of Boswell, Jose Cruz Rubio and wife, Irma of Boswell, Anna Laura Pantoja and husband, Omar of Boswell, Jesus Rubio of Boswell, Maria Guadalupe Rubio and Jagger Hamill of Boswell; brothers: Jesus Rubio of Florida, Antonio Rubio of Boswell, Audon Rubio of Boswell, Jose Florintino Rubio of Austin, Texas, Jose Alfredo Rubio of Louisiana, Armando Rubio of Mexico, Maximliano Rubio of Austin, Texas, and Jorge Rubio of Mexico; sisters: Sara Rubio of Louisiana, Brenda Rubio of Florida, Camella Rubio of Austin, Texas, Juana Rubio of Mexico, Clara Rubio of Mexico and Juana Rubio of Mexico; grandchildren: Enrique Avalos, Jose Cruz Rubio, Jimena Avalos, Jose Cruz Avalos, Julian Pantoja, Kruz Pantoja, Jose Samuel Rubio, Omar Pantoja, Jr. and Joshia Rubio, along with many other friends, family and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Rubio-Gardner Cemetery in Boswell with Father Todd Nance officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
