Graveside services for Mary Louise Morgan, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo. Mary passed away May 2, 2021, at the age of 81.

Mary Louise Morgan was born on Sept. 22, 1939 in Checotah, Okla., to John and LuVina (Hood) Karr. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and LuVina; her sons: Randy Morgan and Greg Morgan; brothers: Robert and Richard and sisters: Billie, Gloria (Susie), Annabelle and Patsy.

Mary was a native of Checotah, Okla., and moved to Hugo, Okla., with Bill and her four sons in 1963. She was a homemaker and loved her family dearly. Mary loved sewing, crocheting, walking and believed in the power of prayer. She enjoyed butterflies, sunflowers, being outside working in her yard and making sure her porch and driveway were always swept clean. Mary was known for her positive outlook and her big laugh that would make everyone smile. She enjoyed music and even attended Elvis concerts. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and loved her family above all.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Bill; sons: Scott Morgan and Brad Morgan and wife, Ellen; sister, Bobbie Karr Lerblance; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Bro. Otis Cayton officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
