Peggy Sue Ward

Funeral services for Peggy Sue Ward, of Antlers, Okla., will be held at 4 p.m. July 8, 2021 at Riverside Unity Church in Boswell.

Peggy Sue Ward was born Sept. 10, 1959 in Paris, Texas, the daughter of Orville “Sonny” and Ollie Faye (White) Ward and lived most of her life in the Boswell, Hugo and Antlers area. She departed this life on July 4, 2021, at the age of 61. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Debra Ward and Donieta Bruce; one brother, Carl “Bo” Ward. Peggy enjoyed road trips and spending time with her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids. Peggy was a devoted mother and spent her time caring for her youngest son, Dustin. She loved her girl’s day out shopping trips and just spending time on the porch visiting. She loved to dance, and you could always find her with a glass of sweet tea or a cup of coffee. Peggy will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Peggy is survived by her best friend and companion, Mike Baggett of the home; sons: Dustin Hoff of the home, Jeremy Hoff and wife of Unger, Okla.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers: Don Ward and wife of Unger, Okla., and Danny Ward of Unger; sisters: Christi Pierce and husband of Boswell, Terri Bohanan and husband of Unger, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home of Hugo. Interment will follow the service at Pierce Cemetery in Boswell with Bro. Tim Harless officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
