Kevin Eugene Honeycutt

Funeral services for Kevin Eugene Honeycutt, of Soper, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021 at Soper First Baptist Church.

Kevin Eugene Honeycutt was born on Dec. 16, 1979 in Oklahoma City, Okla. He departed this life on Aug. 5, 2021 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, at the age of 41. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Gene Honeycutt and grandmother.

Kevin grew up in Soper, Okla., and was a graduate of Soper High School, Class of 1998. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Southeastern State University and worked for many years for Chase Bank as an investment representative. Kevin enjoyed his job and helping people with financial advice. He was a people person and loved helping others in anyway that he could. Kevin enjoyed shooting pistols and playing computer games, especially World of Warcraft. He was a member of Soper First Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Larry and Judy (McKee) Chaney of Soper; an aunt, numerous cousins and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at McKee Cemetery in Soper with Bro. Brad Michael officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
