Terry Patton

Funeral services for Terry Patton will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 at the Rattan Baptist Church in Rattan, Okla., with Bro Shawn Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at the Moore Cemetery in Clarita, Okla. Terry passed away Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, in Hugo, Okla., at the age of 65.

Terry Patton was born May 30, 1956, the son of William Otto and Lorene (Murphy) Patton, in Coalgate, Okla. He was part of the Estus group home here in Hugo and enjoyed working with his “my guys” at Kiamichi Opportunites. Terry loved to listen to his music.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Lavonda Jaynes and Jeneane Grimes.

Terry is survived by his sister, Carla Grimmett and husband, Jimmy of Antlers, Okla.; one brother, Kent Patton of Coleman, Okla.; aunt, Roz Zable of Moore, Okla.; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins; several great-nieces and nephews, as well as his buddies from the KOI group home.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo.
