Graveside services for Jimmy Vaughn Kinslow, of Fort Towson, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. June 13, 2022 at Fort Towson Cemetery. Jimmy passed away June 9, 2022, at the age of 74.

Jimmy Vaughn Kinslow was born on Aug. 6, 1947 in Huskey, Okla., the son of Vernon Kinslow and Uvelle Hughes Kinslow. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jimmy had an avid love of the outdoors and especially loved spending time in the mountains and on the rivers fishing. Jimmy loved to hunt and fish with his family and friends. This love of the outdoors and family brought out the happy free spirit that defined him. He also loved listening to country music while driving the dirt roads of southeast Oklahoma. Jimmy’s love for the outdoors and music were only surpassed by his love for his nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Through the good times and the bad he lived, laughed and loved. Remember the good memories you have of Jimmy. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Jim Bo – Big Jim will be forever in our hearts… till we meet again.

Jimmy is survived by his brother, Terry Kinslow of Fort Towson ; sister, Vicky Kinslow of Garvin, Okla., along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Services were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
