Jimmie Lynne Demo, of Hugo, Okla., passed away Sept. 3, 2022, at the age of 65.

Jimmie Lynne Demo, 65, was born in Hollis, Okla., on Nov. 11, 1956, the daughter of Jim Ben Chapman and Doris Lucille (Boatwright) Chapman. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Amber M. Moore; sisters: Frances Long, Wanda Barnard and Anne O’Riley and a niece.

Jimmie grew up in Soper, Okla., and spent most of her life in Choctaw County. She was a true hippie at heart and was known for having a great sense of humor, and always being willing to help anyone in need. She never met a stranger. Jimmie loved animals, however, the greatest joy in her life was family. She loved them unconditionally, and her memory will live on through them. Jimmie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Jimmie is survived by her sisters; Joyce Lawrence and LaQuita Chapman; a granddaughter, 11 nieces and nephews, 27 great-nieces and nephews and 36 greatgreat-nieces and nephews; along with a host of friends, family, and loved ones.

Arrangements were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
