Graveside services for Brenda Lawless, of Fort Towson, Okla., will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 12, 2022 at Sobol Cemetery. Brenda passed away Dec. 5, 2022, at the age of 76.

Brenda Mae Lawless was born on April 1, 1946, in Tulsa, Okla., the daughter of Harold Weston and Lucille Cunningham Weston. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Weston.

Brenda married the love of her life, Jerry Lawless on May 8, 1965, in Tulsa, Okla., and after Jerry was discharged from military service they moved to the Sobol area. She loved her family but above all she loved her Lord and Saviour. Brenda was a loyal, faithful wife and a Godly mother, who raised her children based on Biblical principles. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and fishing with her boys and watching them play baseball when they were younger. Brenda also enjoyed taking care of her potted plants and loved red roses and her deer in the evening. Her passing has left a void in her family’s life but they know that she is no longer in pain and walking the streets of gold in Heaven.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jerry Lawless; sons: Marty Alan Lawless and wife of Sobol, Okla., and Michael Dewayne Lawless and wife of Silo, Okla. ; seven grandchildren, three great-granchildren; brother, Carl Weston of Jay, Okla., along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 7, 2022 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo.

Bro. Bret Miller will officiate the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
