Bobbie Francis Himes

Funeral services for Bobbie Francis Himes were held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023 at Shoals Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Livingston officiating. Burial followed at Shoat Springs Cemetery. Bobbie passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023, in Gun Barrel City, Texas, at the age of 93. Bobbie Francis Himes was born Aug. 29, 1929, the daughter of Sidney and Mima Dickinson in Paris, Texas. She spent most of her life as a caregiver. She enjoyed traveling and going to church. She loved to sing.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed Himes; second husband, Laron Camp; two brothers: Tommy and Jerry; two sisters: Inell and Willie.

Bobbie is survived by her son, Ronnie Himes and wife, Velma of Gun Barrel City, Texas; grandchildren: Rhonda Rodgers and husband, Woody of Scurry, Texas, Kerri Collins and husband, Scotty of Kaufman, Texas, Travis Ulmen and wife, Becky of Whitehouse, Texas; nine great-grandchildren.
