Angela Joy Arnold

Graveside services for Angela Joy Arnold, of Idabel, Okla., were held at 1 p.m. Feb. 23, 2022 at Resthaven Cemetery in Jacksonville, Texas. Angela passed away Feb. 18, 2022, at the age of 48.

Angela Joy Arnold was born on Dec. 27, 1973 in Shreveport, La., the daughter of Freddy and Lily Gardner. She was preceded in death by her father and husband, Steven Arnold.

Angela lived most of her life in Jacksonville, Texas, but spent the last 10 years in Idabel. She married the love of her life, Steven Arnold on July 1, 2005 in Hugo, Okla. Angela loved gardening and enjoyed spending time taking care of her pets, flowers and plants. She also enjoyed skating, fishing and listening to music. Angela is survived by her mother, Lily Beasley of Jacksonville, Texas; sisters: Tonja Ishbib of Dallas, Texas, Debra Gardner of Austin, Texas, and Annie Gardner of Jacksonville, Texas; stepsons: Daxton Smith, Dylan Smith and Dalton Smith; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and a host of other family and loved ones.

Services were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
