Betty Satterfield

Funeral services for Betty Satterfield, of Southlake, Texas, were held at 10 a.m. June 16, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Betty passed away June 10, 2021, at the age of 88.

Betty Louise Satterfield was born July 5, 1932 in Duncan, Okla., to Jeff and Pearl Youngblood. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lowell and daughter, Patricia Satterfield.

Betty was a resident of Hugo for many years and loved to volunteer. She was the first driver for Meals on Wheels and also volunteered her time at the Hugo Library. Betty was always there to help if anyone was in need. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty is survived by her sons: Don Satterfield of Southlake, Texas, and Jeff Satterfield of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughter, Theresa Stevens of Hinesville, Ga.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
