Graveside services for Bruce Eastwood, of Boswell, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 2020 at Crowder Prairie Cemetery in Boswell. Bruce passed away Aug. 30, 2020, at the age of 72.

Bruce Edward Eastwood was born Feb. 26, 1948 in Durant, Okla., the son of John Allen Eastwood and Alice Irene (Chandler) Eastwood. He married Marjorie Kerr on Feb. 3, 1971 in Dallas, Texas. They lived in Dallas for three years and then moved back to Boswell where Bruce grew up.

Bruce served his country during the Vietnam War in the Oklahoma and Texas Army National Guard and Army Reserves. He was a farmer/ rancher and also worked in industrial construction. He was extremely passionate about his family as they were most important to him. His boys followed him in construction, working closely with him while his daughter stayed close to home keeping company with their mother. Bruce enjoyed the yearly camping trip with his family and also enjoyed family get togethers. He loved all types of music but his real joy and peace came from working on his farm.

Survivors include: his wife, Marjorie Eastwood; two sons: Richard Eastwood and wife, Stephanie of Bennington, Okla., and Brandt Eastwood and wife, Misty of Calera, Okla.; daughter, Mary Cash and husband, Greg of Boswell; brothers: John Wayne Eastwood and wife, Janet of Boswell, and Lewis Eastwood and wife, Bonnie, also of Boswell; sisters: Shirley Riggs of San Antonio, Texas, Michelle Clary and husband, Mickey of Maybank, Texas, and Ellen Fitzgerald and husband, Ken of Tulsa, Okla.; grandchildren: Bailey Eastwood, Emily Eastwood, Alex Eastwood, Adriana Eastwood and Makenna Eastwood, along with many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Boswell.

Bro. Jan Lee will officiate the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
