Cameron Ashley Parks

Funeral services for Cameron Ashley Parks, of Durant, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. May 29, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Cameron passed away May 22, 2021, at the age of 27.

Cameron Ashley Parks was born on Oct. 13, 1993 in Hugo, Okla., to Shane and Andrea (Booth) Parks. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Delta Anderson.

Cameron was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and had lived in the Durant area for the last five years. He enjoyed working out and taking his dog on walks. Cameron loved his friends and enjoyed spending time with them, playing magic cards and computer gaming. He also enjoyed deep sea fishing and spending time around a bonfire on the beach. Cameron was a kind-hearted soul who loved playing with his niece and helping others. If someone was in need, he was there to help in any way that he could. Cameron will be missed and never forgotten by those who knew and loved him.

Cameron is survived by his parents; sister, Samantha Parks of Durant; niece, Harper Parks; paternal grandparents, Lonnie and Pattie Parks of Finley, Okla.; maternal grandparents, Larry and Kathy Booth of Hugo; many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him so much, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Springs Chapel Cemetery in Hugo with Dr. Michael Bradley officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
