Funeral services for Cornelia Wilson, of Hugo, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 28, 2021 at South Central District Building. Cornelia passed away Aug. 19, 2021, at the age of 64.

Cornelia Wilson was born on April 21, 1957 in Hugo, Okla., to Parthina Johnson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Parthina Johnson; four brothers: Ezekiel Johnson, Robert Johnson, James Rucker, Sr. and Nathanial Rucker; two sisters: Laruth Colbert and Etherleen Johnson; and a lifelong friend.

Cornelia accepted Christ into her life at a young age and was a devoted servant until her passing. She attended Grant Public Schools where she graduated, Class of 1976. Cornelia was a lifetime resident of the Hugo, Okla., area. She married Charles Wilson and from this union four children were born. Cornelia worked as a CNA for many years. She entered eternal rest on Aug. 19, 2021.

Cornelia is survived by her sons: Anthony Wilson, Sr. of Sherman, Texas, Kerry Wilson of Hugo; daughters: Tamica Dudley of Paris, Texas and Kim Wilson of Paris, Texas; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; brothers: Rollie Johnson and Don Ear Johnson of Hugo, Jerry Johnson of Paris, Texas, Floyd James Rucker of Oklahoma City, Ollie Jean Rucker of Oklahoma City and Roy Lee Rucker of Soper, Okla.; sisters: Tina Bray and Mary Ann Johnson of Hugo, Lonnie May Rucker of Oklahoma City, Alma Faye Rucker of Oklahoma City and Carolyn Rucker of Topeka, Kan., along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relative and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo.

Minister Carolyn Hicks will officiate the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
