Funeral services for Swink resident Dimple Hisaw were held Saturday, July 17 at 2 p.m. at the Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Valliant, Okla.

Dimple died Sunday, July 11, 2021, in Paris, Texas at the age of 76.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Rebecca; siblings, FA Byrd, Leslie (Bo) Byrd, Sable Tidmore, Floy Dowell, Frances Hailey, Onita Johnson, Oma Jean Voyles, Reetha Rose, Lessie Fay Baucom and Normal Byrd.

Dimple Ann Hisaw was born Dec. 3, 1944, in Swink, Okla., the daughter of Lester Franklin Byrd and Rebecca Ann (Clark) Byrd. She was the youngest of 11 children and grew up in the Swink area. Dimple married Cecil Hisaw on Jan. 30, 1960, in Clarksville, Texas, and raised two sons, Danny and Brent. Dimple was the owner and operator of Dimples Flowers for 47 years. She enjoyed her work and took pride in making every arrangement special for her customer. Dimple loved singing in church and talking about Jesus. She enjoyed cooking and shopping.

Dimple leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 61 years, Cecil Hisaw of Swink; sons: Danny Hisaw and wife, Michelle of Swink; Brent Hisaw and wife, Shelly of Valliant; grandchildren: Levi Hisaw and Lorrie Yarbrough, Kanyon Fuller and husband, Josh, Laini Hisaw and fiancée Tanner Partain and Karsyn Hisaw; great grandson, Ollie Yarbrough; brother, Dayton Byrd; her nieces: Lois, Clara and Wanona, who provided extra love and care for Dimple in her last days along with many loved family and friends.

Bro Bob Stuart officiated the services and burial followed in the Valliant Cemetery under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home of Valliant.
