Funeral services for Floyd J.C. Roebuck, of Boswell, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. March 11, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home.

Floyd J.C. Roebuck was born April 25, 1934 in Boswell, Okla., the son of Ulysses Roebuck and Minnie (Fennell) Roebuck and had lived all of his life in the Boswell area. He passed from this life on March 8, 2021, at the age of 86.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, along with one brother, Pete Roebuck and five sisters: Vivian Dean, Joyce Bearden and Pearley Lou Wortham, Gwendolyn Baker and Fern Baker

Floyd graduated from Boswell High School in 1952. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army.

Floyd married Loraine Manar on March 21, 1959 in Soper, Okla., and worked as a plumber for more than 50 years. He enjoyed going to church, visiting with friends and family, and working in his garden.

Survivors include his wife, Loraine; three sons: Jay Roebuck and wife, Sharon of Paris, Tony Roebuck and wife, Joan of Bokchito, Mark Roebuck and wife, Lori of Summerdale, Ala. He is also survived by his brother, Joe Roebuck of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Floyd J. Roebuck and Dalton Roebuck.

Interment followed the service at Restland Cemetery with Carl Dunlap officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
