Celebration of life for Georgia Dana Antwine, fondly known as “Dana,” were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the Riverside Unity Church in Boswell, Okla., with the Rev. Tim Harless officiating. Burial followed at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo. Dana went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 14, 2021, in Plano, Texas, at the age of 74.

Georgia Dana Antwine was born June 21, 1946, to George Alfred and Lois (Bunch) Antwine, in Hugo, Okla. She had lived most of her life in this area and was currently a resident of the Estus Home. She was of the Methodist faith. For many years, Dana was the primary caregiver to her mother and any other family members who needed her attention. Dana enjoyed embroidery, crafts, color art, music and bus trips with her co-workers at Kiamichi Opportunities, where she had been employed for more than 15 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially Steven and Anna and her Estus Home family. Dana was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Nancy Smith.

Dana is survived by her sisters: Erma Harless of Soper, Okla., Marianne Ainsworth of Soper, and Alicia Tyson of Paris, Texas, along with a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
