Glenda Roberson

Funeral services for Glenda Roberson, of Boswell, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2022 at Good Springs Presbyterian Church in Boswell.

Glenda Joyce (Hopkins) Roberson was born on Sept. 22, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Aubrey Hopkins and Merle (Payte) Hopkins. She passed from this life on Nov. 24, 2022, at the age of 70 in her residence in Boswell. Glenda married Harold Wayne “Weiner” Roberson on Aug. 13, 1969 in Boswell, where they resided and raised their family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Weiner; her son, Kevin Roberson; her parents; brother, Jimmy Ray Vinyard; and sister, Jan Vinyard.

Glenda was a graduate of Boswell High School and a member of Good Springs Presbyterian Church. She loved the Lord with all her heart and her Church was her passion. Glenda enjoyed gospel singings and cookouts. She worked for years as a wound care nurse and took pride in helping other people. Most of all Glenda loved being the boss. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Glenda is survived by her daughter, Rachel Ainsworth of Boswell; brothersin-law, sisters-in-law; a daughterin- law; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; special cousins, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bro. Alan Beck officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
