James Jonathan “John” Bacon was born Nov. 20, 1971 in Talihina, Okla., the son of Jimmy Bacon and Mary Jane (Roberts) Bacon and had lived all of his life in Boswell. His parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Scotty Bacon; sister, D’Esta Hull, and a grandson.

John worked as a forklift driver for Rolloff’s and also worked in construction. He loved rock-n-roll music and played many instruments. He also enjoyed

Arrangements were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home. fishing, loved camping and hunting, but most of all, he loved his grandchildren. John was of the Baptist faith.

John is survived by his wife, Tina (Goolsby) Bacon; sons: Jesse Jones and wife of Lone Grove, Okla., Zachary Goolsby and wife of Boswell and Dalton Bacon and wife of Bennington, Okla.; sister, Evangeline Cubit and husband of Wright City, Okla.; six grandchildren.
